The Dean’s Prerequisite Picks of the Week
November 1st, 2009 at 12:00 pm Posted by
If you’ve been following The Dean’s weekly progress reports, you’d know that many members of the CollegeStock Community have already taken home some honorable gains with The Dean’s Prerequisite Picks of the Week—$UNDT (103%), $AMNP (96%), $ASFX (81%) and $GRDO (78%), to name a few.
Let’s see what these Prerequisite Picks of the Week can do for the CollegeStock Community:
BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: BCRX)
Play big, Profit big?
$BCRX designs, optimizes and develops novel small-molecule pharmaceuticals that block key enzymes involved in infectious diseases, cancer and inflammatory diseases. $BCRX has 2 novel compounds in late stage trials—Peramivir for influenza and Forodesine for lyphoma. The Dean believes $BCRX is a promising pick because the company received $77.2 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to complete development of Peramivir as a possible treatment for Swine Flu.
Genta Inc. (OTC: GETA)
Too late to GET in?
$GETA has been on a lot of watchlists lately because of the company’s Genasense injection for patients with advanced melanoma. On Thursday, $GETA announced the results of a Phase 3 trial and The Dean believes there are a lot more developments and gains in store for $GETA.
Magnum d’Or Resources, Inc. (OTC: MDOR)
Trash into Cash?
$MDOR is a green technology company that provides a one-of-a-kind solution that could eliminate the growing stockpiles of scrap tires and rubber waste. $MDOR is positioning themselves to revolutionize rubber recycling worldwide. On Monday, $MDOR will be in the spotlight in front of Colorado state legislators and the media when they visit their facility.
EQ Labs Inc. (OTC: EQLB)
This one could Fizzle Up!
The Dean thinks $EQLB could fizzle to the surface with their effervescent tablets that provide instant energy to any beverage. $EQLB has recently retained a production company to promote and increase sales volume. The Dean likes $EQLB because they’re using events like the NAACP Celebrity Golf Tournament to get the word out about their products. $EQLB‘s products are already being sold through 7-Eleven stores throughout the country and the right kind of exposure could turn this company into a brand name.
Klever Marketing Inc. (OTC: KLMK)
Throw it in the Bag?
The Dean thinks $KLMK‘s clever wireless shopping cart devices could give retailers a boost in advertising this holiday season. $KLMK hasn’t had any news, since they announced the installation of their technology in Utah supermarkets last month. The Dean thinks this pick could have a lot of investors saying, “throw it in the bag.”
The Dean has done his homework and now it’s time for you to do yours. Be sure to study up and meet The Dean in the winner’s circle next week.
