The Dean’s Daily Honor Roll: $HBRFW, $PPBL and $CAMD

In an effort to bring the CollegeStock Community fresh content about the small cap markets and world of penny stocks, The Dean is kicking off The Dean’s Daily Honor Roll of picks on the move.
$HBRFW
This morning, Highbury Financial Inc. (OTC: HBRFW.OB) announced a definitive merger agreement with Affiliated Managers Group (NYSE: AMG), where $AMG will acquire $HBRFW for 1,748,879 shares, or more than $100 million, based on current share value. As a result, $HBRFW skyrocketed 1374% today— Happy Holidays indeed!
$NIMC
New Image Concepts, Inc. (OTC: NIMC.OB) is a development stage company working to make individuals as stylish and hot as their stock performed today. Interestingly enough, $NIMC recently entered into an agreement with Car Charging Group, Inc. and gained 910% as a result.
$PPBL
Premier Publishing (OTC: PPBL.OB) started off as just a pebble and climbed the hill 700% into the GREEN today—and people in New York say that publishing is dead.
$CAMD
California Micro Devices Corporation (NASDAQ: CAMD) announced that Phoenix-based ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ: ONNN) agreed to purchase the company at $4.70 per share. As a result, $CAMD gained 53%, closing at $4.67 on the day.
$BGEM
As part of The Dean’s Prerequisite Picks of the Week, The Dean taught all of his students about Blue Gem Enterprises (OTC: BGEM.OB) as a pick that could move this week in penny stocks. Today, $BGEM announced that their product line would expand to include BRAND NAMES like Hawaiian Punch, Canada Dry Ginger Ale, Motts Apple Juice and Yoo Hoo.
$BGEM moved up as much as 91.4% today, before closing strong at $0.65 and 85% in the green. And, staying consistent with The Dean’s Penny Stock Oath, The Dean wants all of his students to know that $BGEM is being promoted by StockMarketingInc.com, ExplicitPicks.com, FreeInvestmentReport.com, PennyStockGains.com and AwesomePennyStocks.com.

China Discovery Acquisition Corp. (OTC: CADQ.OB) closed the day down 44.83% on ridiculously low volume of just 11,600 shares. Hang your head low $CADQ and make your way to the corner to find a funny-looking, cone-shaped hat with your name on it because you’re officially The Dean’s Dunce of the Day!
