$SLAT’s Forward Split and Profit Power

Dear Students

$SLAT is engaged in the development of rechargeable lithium-ion battery products for power production in the clean energy movement. $SLAT‘s batteries are composed of a unique cathode compound and can be used for a range of applications including fuel cells for electronic and hybrid cars.

The Dean’s excited to teach his students about $SLAT because last month the company announced a confirmed 3-for-1 forward stock split, which will be effective on or after October 12, 2009, depending on FINRA and yesterday morning $SLAT released news that the company submitted additional materials to FINRA and the forward stock split would become effective shortly after FINRA approval.

What does that mean for shareholders? As long as they have more 100 shares, nothing bad at all. Right now the stock is trading around $0.60. When the 3-for-1 forward stock split comes through, shareholders will have 3 times as many shares at a third of the price. For example, if you had 1,000 shares at $0.60, the forward split would give you 3,000 shares at $0.20 a share—the same valuation you had previously.

But everyone in the stock world knows that more shares + movement = more overall value and in $SLAT‘s case, gains moving back towards the purchase price after the split means you will have 3 times the chances of bringing home Ivy League Profits.

The forward stock split isn’t all $SLAT announced last month—they also released news that the development of their lithium-ion battery pack is complete and $SLAT expects their first prototype to be completed and delivered to EV Innovations (OTC: EVII) by the end of November.

The Dean wants all of his students to keep in mind the that United States government just spend nearly $3 billion to put 700,000 more efficient cars on the road. Since $SLAT has completed the development phase of their battery pack for electric AND hybrid vehicles, The Dean believes $SLAT could see gains because they’re packing relevant and necessary technology.

As The Dean has taught his students in several of the Wide World of Dean Series blog posts, cleaner and greener energy is where people are looking for easy profits.

The clean energy market is expected to become a $6 trillion global market, with powerhouses like China and the United States pumping up to $1 trillion into clean energy and green efforts. And The Dean thinks many will look to $SLAT and their partner, EV Innovations (OTC: EVII) to start churning out the next-generation of Smart Cars.

The Smart Car has sold over 1,000,000 units in the United States and Europe and is being marketed in 36 countries—$SLAT could be HUGE!

People are excited about ways they can contribute to GREEN efforts and the fact that Smart Cars have been moving could mean BIG momentum for $SLAT and the LiV series of electric vehicles.

Happy Trading, The Dean
