Dear Students

In an effort to bring the CollegeStock Community even more fresh content about the small cap markets and world of penny stocks, The Dean presents his Daily Honor Roll of picks on the move.

$IMSC
Implant Sciences, Inc. (OTC: IMSC.OB) develops, manufactures and sells sensor systems for the security, safety and defense industries in the United States and abroad. The Dean believes $IMSC could be shaping up to be a major player in the homeland security game and received attention today as it moved up as much as 567%, before claiming a 450% gain and its spot on the top of The Dean’s Honor Roll today.

$PIP
PharmAthene, Inc. (AMEX: PIP) is a biodefense company engaged in the the development and commercialization of medical countermeasures for biological and chemical weapons in the United States. The Dean thinks the recent addition of Dr. Jeffrey Runge to the $PIP team could be an indication of the company beefing up their staff to further develop SparVax, the company’s anthrax vaccine. $PIP moved into the green by as much as 145%, closing with more than a squeak for a loud 69% gain.

$PABK
PAB Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: PABK) operates as The Park Avenue Bank and provides commercial and consumer banking products and services in Georgia and Florida. Other than the passing of one of the company’s directors, The Dean wishes he could share more information about $PABK‘s movement today. Nevertheless, $PABK climbed the charts 79% on big volume of more than 13 million shares, before closing the day 37.5% in the green.

And The Dean just wouldn’t be The Dean, if he didn’t point out a stock that fell flat on its face:

$SOYL
American Soil Technologies, Inc. (OTC: SOYL.OB) develops, manufactures and markets polymers and other soil amendments to the agricultural, turf and horticulture industries. The Dean thinks $SOYL should change its $TICKER to $SOIL because its shareholders nearly soiled themselves watching the stock drop as much as 73%, before closing down 62% in red territory.

Hang your head low, $SOYL, and make your way to the corner to find a funny-looking, cone-shaped hat with your name on it because you’re officially The Dean’s Dunce of the Day!

Stay tuned for more movers, shakers, name takers and, of course, The Dean’s Dunce of the Day tomorrow.

Happy Trading, The Dean
