Going Greek with $OPTL
February 17th, 2010 at 11:08 am Posted byEarlier this month, The Dean taught the entire student body about Optimum Interactive Ltd. (OTC: OPTL.PK), a leading provider of web-based network services for membership organizations, including collegiate student, faith-based, non-profit and professional associations.
$OPTL plans to expand its 230 campus-based clients by 87%, with the addition of 200 colleges and universities. From these increased operations, $OPTL expects an additional $2 million in 2010 revenues and 50% or more in 2011.
Last week, $OPTL released CelectGrow(TM), a powerful took to leverage brand name applications such as Facebook, which is already being used by 74 chapters of the Alpha Gammo Rho fraternity.
Yesterday at market close, $OPTL announced new contracts with more Greek Life organizations. This contact includes Theta Phi Alpha (25,000 members), Alpha Kappa Lambda (25,000 members), and the Fraternity Communications Association, which represents 54 national fraternity offices.
What’s even better about acquiring more clients is that $OPTL is able to collect set-up, migration and administrative license fees from hundreds of organizations.
$OPTL Founder and Chief Strategy Officer Tim Roth also mentioned that the company will be “managing their web site applications and member database system needs” and that “will leverage hundreds of new potential clients in the Greek and Collegiate marketplace.”
The Dean believes $OPTL is quickly gaining popularity among Greek Life organizations, which isn’t a bad niche market with more than 123 fraternities and sororities in the United States alone.
