Free Penny Stock Picks of the Week: (HFBG, GIMU, BGOI, PPII, ARWR)
June 6th, 2010 at 1:00 pm Posted byThe Dean is back with another week of free penny stock picks: HFBG, GIMU, BGOI, PPII, ARWR
The Dean previously alerted his Honors Class students, who pay a ridiculously low tuition rate of $9.87/month to receive his penny stock picks before the rest of the student body, to Hall of Fame Beverages, Inc. (OTC: HFBG.PK). Last week’s lack of material developments proved that this alert was a little premature. However, The Dean believes the company will soon announce the news the world of penny stocks has been waiting for.
Despite the company not releasing news in a month, Global Immune Technologies Inc. (OTC: GIMU.PK) moved up 128.57% on Friday. The company’s most recent press release was issued on May 4th, and commented on taking “the steps necessary to become a fully reporting company on the OTCBB.” Additionally, this announcement tells us that the company “has begun discussions with several companies it is considering for acquisition.”
On Friday, Bonanza Oil & Gas, Inc. (OTC: BGOI.OB) traded over 43 million shares, or more than 6 times its 3 month average volume, and gained 41.67%, on no recent news.
Pro-Pointer, Inc. (OTC: PPII.PK), through its wholly owned subsidiary, Coenzyme A Technologies, Inc., applies new technology to the formulation and manufacture of a series of proprietary products that address nutritional deficiencies. After a month with no news, the company released news after market close on Friday, introducing a new supplement for arthritic and inflammatory conditions. Additionally, the press release detailing this development tells us the nutraceutical market is expected to exceed $15 billion this year, has experienced “double-digit growth over the last few years, and is expected to continue.”
Arrowhead Research Corporation (NASDAQ: ARWR) identifies advances in nanotechnology and matches them with product development opportunities in high-growth markets, focusing on the electronics and biotech industries. Last week, this company had a number of developments, and The Dean believes this stock could continue to see above average volume this week. Let’s see (1) data from a phase 1 clinical trial conducted by the company’s subsidiary, Calando Pharmaceuticals, will be presented at the 2010 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting June 6th; (2) the company will also be presenting at the Noble Financial Equity Conference on Tuesday, June 8th; and (3) the company recently finalized an agreement with Tokyo Electron to develop manufacturing equipment for carbon nanotube displays and solar cells. On Friday, Arrowhead Research Corporation (NASDAQ: ARWR) closed at its high of day (HOD), $1.85, which also happens to be the stock’s new 52 week high.
As always, The Dean of Penny Stocks suggests that all of his students do their homework for their chance to make the grade this week.
