Check Out These Fake Testimonials By Penny Stock Promoter NYTimesReport.com
April 20th, 2009 at 9:10 am Posted by The DeanI’m sure a lot of students are seeing “Sponsored Links” for a new stock promotion website @ http://www.NYTimesReport.com and the fake testimonials are so blatantly obvious that I decided to write this blog entry about it.
Below are the “testimonials” from http://www.NYTimesReport.com:

Awesome track record. “I’m blown away. Your track record, in a difficult market, has been second to none.” — Jay., French , FL
Bought 4x as much house. “I manage a brokerage account for my parents. Dad was changing jobs that required him to buy a house… Thanks to the appreciation in your GOLD stock picks, they were able to buy 4x as much house both free and clear.” — Michael, NY
The “Inside” secret to a stable financial future.“My future looks tremendously more stable since I created subscribed to your REPORT. I buy every recommendation, every month, and the returns have outperformed any returns hands down in the market.” -Kyle., Robs, WA
277% return in 2 months. “I rolled over an employee sponsored IRA and invested in NYTIMES REPORT alerts and have since averaged 46% return per alert.” –Romero, Brazil
Notice the similarity between the testimonials @ http://www.NYTimesReport.com and those in the right column? (by Motley Fool).
This is another great example of how some stock promoters are willing to lie, cheat and steal in order to beef up their subscriber base. I wish they’d understand how much easier it is to sleep at night by working with real companies and creating real value for both their members AND the companies they represent!
P.S. in case you didn’t know NYTimesReport.com is not affiliated with the actual New York Times.
