$BSTK: Innovation and Real-Life Experience

The Dean has told the CollegeStock Community about his thoughts on $BSTK‘s downward movement yesterday and The Dean thinks that $BSTK will bounce back because it’s a real company that The Dean believes in.
The presence of taser incidents in the news everyday suggests that the controversy surrounding the use of the devices is something that will not go away. As long as the devices are an option available for police officers and law enforcement agencies to use, The Dean’s confident that unfortunate incidents and consequences will follow.
For example, four San Jose officers have been placed on administrative leave surrounding an incident that involved a 20 year-old Vietnamese exchange student, a taser and a baton. Of course this was caught on video but unfortunately for the police officers it was not captured on $BSTK‘s Duty Light Camera (DLC) to film their side of the story. Instead, a witness took action and recorded the events with their cell phone.
Why would a witness take the effort to record this incident? The Dean thinks that when these types of things happen, people are there to witness them, know the police officers are abusing their authority (and issued devices) and record them in the act.
In Florida, another taser story describes how a police officer’s taser was used against her. Fortunately, the police officer was not killed during the incident but she was forced to further defend herself by discharging her firearm.
The Dean has talked to $BSTK President Glenn Bushee numerous times about the need for alternative weapons and products and one of the main reasons $BSTK has designed products like their Tactical Baton out of flexible, composite material is because this incident in Florida is not the first time a police officer’s taser or baton was used against them.
$BSTK‘s Tactical Baton is also designed to prevent deadly injury and broken bones, especially because the alternative device can be used against police officers in a struggle. The Dean believes this product could also reduce the number of lawsuits and claims of police brutality because it’s a true less than lethal device.
This point presents another reason why The Dean believes $BSTK‘s products are indeed marketable. The Dean wants all of his students to realize that $BSTK‘s products are not just flashlights and, at the same time, products like the Tactical Baton are ALSO flashlights.
The Tactical Baton is another example of the innovation and real-life experience that goes into the design and development of $BSTK‘s tactical illumination products.
