Netezza Corporation (NYSE: NZ) provides data warehouse, analytic, and monitoring appliances to enterprises, mid-market companies, and government agencies in the United States and internationally. The Company reported better than expected results for its fiscal second quarter ended July 31, 2010. For the quarter, revenues were $63.8 million, with earnings of $0.09 per share, ahead of estimates at $53.9 million and earnings of $0.06 per share. Additionally, for the full fiscal year ending in January 2011, the Company suggested revenues are up 30% over a year ago, which could mean over $247 million, well ahead of an estimated $234.1 million projection. Today, NZ shares have gained as much as 30%, trading as high as $19.40 per share.

WPCS International Incorporated (NASDAQ: WPCS) is a design-build engineering company, which focuses on the implementation requirements of communications infrastructure worldwide. Earlier this month, the Company announced the receipt of nearly $12 million in new contracts, but has not issued news since then. Gaining as much as 35% in early trading this morning, WPCS shares climbed to $3.40.

Dollar Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: DLLR) provides retail financial services to unbanked and under-banked consumers. At market close Thursday, the Company reported record consolidated total revenue of $610.9 million for its 2010 fiscal year, an increase of 15.7% compared to its previous fiscal year. Adjusted EBITDA for the Company increased 31.6% to a record $182.2 million. After word of this strong financial data, DLLR shares have gained 25.16% this morning, trading as high as $19.55 on more than three times their 10-day average volume.

Cadiz, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDZI) acquires and develops land and water resources in the United States, focusing on water resource, agricultural and renewal energy development operations. Without any recent news from the Company, CDZI shares have gained over 14% today, trading as high as $11.48 per share.

BSDM $2.31 +10.53%
BSM Medical Corporation (NASDAQ: BSDM) develops, manufactures, markets, and services medical systems that deliver precision-focused radio frequency (RF) or microwave energy into diseased sites of the body, heating them to specified temperatures as required by a variety of medical therapies. BSDM shares are continuing a bounce today, climbing as high as $2.46 per share, or more than 17% over Thursday’s close of $2.09.
