(NASDAQ: SOMX) is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the in-licensing, development and commercialization of proprietary products and late-stage product candidates for the treatment of diseases and disorders in the central nervous system therapeutic area. This morning, the Company announced a co-promotion agreement with Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG) for Silenor, a newly-approved treatment for insomnia characterized by difficulty with sleep maintenance. Under the agreement will promote the drug with a combined 215 sales representatives in the U.S. market. Today, SOMX shares have gained as much as 62.61% over Tuesday’s close of $3.37, trading as high as $5.48.

This morning, retailer Coldwater Creek, Inc. (NASDAQ: CWTR) reported financial results for the three and six month periods ended July 31, 2010. For second quarter 2010, net sales were $253.5 million, compared with $225.2 million in the fiscal 2009 second quarter. Net sales for the six months ended July 31, 2010 were $496.6 million, an increase over $453.6 million in the first six months of fiscal 2009. Trading as high as $4.19 per share so far today, CWTR shares have gained as much as 25% over yesterday’s close of $3.35.

(AMEX: CUR) is a biopharmaceuticals company focused on the development and commercialization of treatments for central nervous system diseases based on transplanting human neural stem cells and small molecule drugs. Before market open this morning, the Company announced the filing of an Investigational New Drug (IND) application with the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to begin a Phase I safety clinical trial for chronic spinal cord injury with its spinal cord stem cells. CUR shares have moved up about 14% this morning, moving to a high of $2.05 so far today.

Back on August 5, 2010, the Company announced it will be reporting its second quarter 2010 results on Thursday, August 26, 2010 before the market opens. Today, GIGM has traded nearly three times its 10-day average volume, and gained about 12%, climbing as high as $2.20 per share.

Tomorrow morning, the Company is scheduled to ring the opening bell of the NASDAQ Stock Market. This morning, CERP shares have gained as much as 16%, hitting a high of $3.80.
