(NASDAQ: ECTY) offers electric vehicle infrastructure products and solutions that are used in on-road grid-connected vehicles, material handling, and airport electric ground support applications. Today, ECTY has traded 113,354 shares, or more than 2.5 times its 3 month average volume, gaining as much as 19%.
REE $3.10 +10.82%
Rare Element Resources Ltd. (AMEX: REE) engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties primarily in Canada and the United States. Trading as high as $3.25 this morning, REE shares gained as much as 16% on volume approaching three times this stock’s 10-day average volume.
AAU $2.17 +9.02%
Almaden Minerals Ltd. (AMEX: AAU) is an exploration stage company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Today, AAU has traded as high as $2.25 per share, a new 52-week high. Although shares have moved up as much as 13% over Friday’s close, AAU is currently trading at $2.16.
ES $5.16 +8.53%
EnergySolutions, Inc. (NYSE: ES) provides technology-based nuclear services to government and commercial customers in the United States and internationally. Although the Company hasn’t issued news since last Monday, ES shares have gained more than 10%, trading for a high of $5.25 so far today.

Dot Hill Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: HILL) provides entry-level and midrange storage systems and enterprise server software for organizations requiring networked storage and data management solutions in open systems architecture. On Friday, the Company announced it will be presenting at the Rodman & Renshaw Annual Global Investment Conference on September 14th at 4:05 pm EST. This morning, HILL gained 11.65%, climbing upward to $1.15 per share.
