The Dean hopes all of his students took some time to take notes on his free penny stock picks of the week. In addition to the penny stocks mentioned in his weekly newsletter yesterday, The Dean will be keeping a watch of the following penny stocks Monday, July 26, 2010:

Last Tuesday, Biomoda, Inc. (OTC: BMOD), a cancer diagnostics company, filed a U.S. patent application on a quantitative method for scoring cells labeled with the Company’s CyPath assay “to determine whether cells are dysplastic or carcinomic by measuring the photon emission rate.”

On Thursday, Newport Digital Technologies, Inc. (OTC: NPDT) entered into a sales agreement with Technology Associates Marketing Compnay (TAMCO) to promoted sales of the N37B ruggedized mobile computing device to TAMCO’s reseller, Value Added Reseller, and end-user channels.

Stratton Holdings, Inc. (PINK: STHG) recently announced official product launch of Portfolio Feed, a mobile application for the Android smart phone market, developed by their subsidiary, Stratton Mobile.

Thursday afternoon, Hard to Treat Diseases, Inc. (PINK: HTDS) announced that researchers from its Slavica BioChem division have established a relationship with The Datamonitor Group, a “world-leading market analysis company.” In this press release, the Company’s Chief Project Scientist, Dr. Sanja Pekovic, suggested this relationship will provide their multiple sclerosis and traumatic brain injury pipeline “with insight into most recent findings in order to be a step ahead to [their] competitors.”

DSCO $0.235 +2.40%
Discovery Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ: DSCO) engages in developing surfactant therapies to treat respiratory disorders and diseases based on its KL4 surfactant and capillary aerosol-generating technologies. Although DSCO hasn’t issued a material development in quite some time, this NASDAQ biotech stock saw a resurgence in volume towards the end of last week into Friday afternoon.
