Pacific Blue Energy (OTC: PBEC) is Eying More Land; Solar Projects

Pacific Blue Energy Corp. (OTC: PBEC) is an Arizona-based renewable energy company actively pursuing the development of several projects by utilizing the Southwest’s abundant solar and wind resources.
One such project in Arizona is said to be developing “technological advances in photovoltaic (PV) solar energy,” with the goal of becoming a provider of renewable energy throughout the Southwest region.
In the past couple of weeks, PBEC has added G. Dale Gray, President and Founder of Patriot Solar, and “high-tech energy executive and consultant” Yoram Gordon, to its advisory board.
Earlier this morning, PBEC announced the company has entered into an agreement to acquire 100 acres in Gila Blend, Arizona, as part of its plan to develop a new 150 megawatt solar farm. Today’s press release also suggests the company could be eying an additional 707 acres adjacent to the 100 acre plot of land.
Additionally, PBEC is currently in development of a 154.3 acre, 20 megawatt solar electric project, Sunshine Solar Farm, with Siliken Renewable Energy, a company reportedly “looking to expand its presence in the U.S. and has identified PBEC as the perfect partner to make this happen.”
Yesterday, PBEC closed up 2.97% at $1.04.
